11th of January
At Oceanarium of EC «Duman» was natural animal yield. Cat sharks gave first shark-calves. Nurslings of Oceanarium Cat sharks (oviparous) began to lay eggs from September, 2004, and at the first decade of January 2005, 8 sharks came to the world. Their parents – 3 female and 6 male of cat sharks were brought to Astana from the coastal zone of Pacific Ocean. Reproduction of ocean breed in the artificial conditions is extraordinary case, and now well-deserved new generation of sharks can be called our, «Kazakhstan sharks».
8th of March
Entertainment Centre «Duman» unusually celebrated the holiday of International feminine day 8th of March. Except special prepared concert program and holiday reduction on visiting Oceanarium, at that day visitors were offered to participate in interesting competition. Presents were got by winners- the eldest woman and the youngest girl who visited EC «Duman».
22nd of March
At that day Entertainment Centre «Duman» gave a pleasure for metropolitans by opening dome area where situated masterpieces of world architecture and attractions for children. On the solemn ceremony of opening especially arrived President of the country N.A. Nazarbayev. Respectable guests were offered smorgasbord, and big concert program with participation of Kazakh music stars.
5th of May
Entertainment Centre «Duman» organized beautiful show for the guests and metropolitans for the celebration its Second Birth Day. At that day all guests had the reduction on visiting Oceanarium, under the dome of center hall was organized the concert with participation of capital music stars. Visitors had the competition for valuable prizes. And at the evening of that day audience presented at the concert of Almaty duet «Musicola».
8th of May
Entertainment Centre «Duman» arranged the celebration to veterans. Presenting of the medals «Uly Otan Sogisindagy Zheniske 60 zhyl»to the veterans, participants and toilers of rear 1941-1945 took place to 60th anniversary of the Victory in World War II. Guests were offered to visit Oceanarium, and then they were entertained by festive dinner and got memorable gifts which were granted by sponsor JSC «Astana-Finance».
24,25th of September
EC «Duman» became the sponsor of Third International contest of Kazakh songs «Astana-2005», participants of which were representatives of distant and near foreign countries. At the central dome area participants had casting of the lots for first round. After the official part of that activity participants visited Oceanarium.
7th of December
At the Oceanarium of EC «Duman» arrived new sea inhabitants. It was wondering that charter flight brought alive cargo from one place of the planet where was the heat of 30 degree into cold Astana. But it interfered neither to transportation nor to the state of fish health. That action was made successfully.
16th of December
At the Day of Independence of Republic of Kazakhstan Entertainment Centre «Duman» for the guests and metropolitans made the reduction for the entrance to Oceanarium and 3D-motion-theatre.Visitors were presented special entertainment program with participation of clowns, and presenting of gifts and surprises.
