14th of February
All loving couples who came at St. Valentine’s Day to EC “Duman” were welcomed especially. Presents, concert with participation of capital music stars and special “Menu for in loved” offered by all cafes of Entertainment Centre made kind and romantic atmosphere for guests.
8th of March
There was very interesting in “Duman” on the 8th of March at celebration International Women’s Day. Entertainment program with participation of artistic groups of Astana city was the perfect present for all visitors. Songs, joyful dance, laughter and general fun make atmosphere easy spring.
22nd of March
In the Entertainment Centre «Duman» took place celebration of the Day of vernal equinox «Nauryz». At that day visitors saw the show-program with participation of capital music stars, and also they took part in competition for valuable presents.
18-22nd of April
Participants of republic song competition “Zhas Kanat”, the sponsor of which during some years becomes EC “Duman”, spend some unforgettable days under the dome of Entertainment Centre. Here was made traditional casting of lots between participants and after the end of competition –there was awarding of special price from EC “Duman” to one of the brightest singers- Baurzhan Nurumbetov.
9th of May
At the day of celebration Victory of World War II, EC “Duman” welcomed veterans and participants of WWII. There was organized charity concert with participation of Kazakhstan music stars; also there was organized dinner for veterans. Hearty welcome and good mood were found in many comments of pleased participants of celebration. All visitors were given the 50 % reduction on Oceanarium tickets.
10th of June
At the Entertainment Centre «Duman» was II Capital Open Children’s Competition «Balausa»- the holiday of talent, beauty and elegance. There participated children from 5 to 14 years old. Competition organizers appreciated harmonies interior of dome area where the competition took place, noting that created atmosphere had the positive effect on children’s activity.
19th of June
At the 3d anniversary of JSC “EC “Duman” was hold opening of new play ground for children “Bobekzhai”. The opening ceremony managed … by babies who came to that holiday and after traditional cutting the band they began to test offered attractions. Swimming in the “dry” pool, fishing in the big brook with fountain, driving on electromobiles and other joy make babies inspire. And big five circle cake prepared by Entertainment Centre “Duman” for guests made even parents recall their childhood!
Visitors of Entertainment Centre saw performance “Strangers’ city”, and at the end of the day there was the concert program with participation of Kazakhstan music stars- disco “All davai”, “FM” and the team of joyful and bright club “Astana. KZ”.
22nd of June
At the day of beginning World War II Entertainment Centre «Duman» takes the tradition to celebrate «Day of elder generation». Treating with respect everyone who survived in the ordeal of war, «Duman» annually invited pensioners, disabled veterans and their relatives for free visit. At that day guests are offered generous dastarhan and interesting program for elder generation.
21st of July
Creative centre «OceanArt» at the Oceanarium of EC «Duman» made the action «Fear is not worth fear ». Every visitor of «Duman» at that day took the possibility to express their secret fear by means of art and then symbolically burn it releasing their minds from psychological cargo.
30th of August
At celebration the Day of Constitution of Republic of Kazakhstan all visitors and citizens had the reduction to the entrance to Oceanarium and 3D motion-theatre. Visitors were offered special entertainment program- cheerful clowns, concert, gifts and surprises.
19-21st of September
There was the Fourth International competition of Kazakh songs «Astana-2006» in the capital. There took part young singers from Bulgaria, Indonesia, Chine, Baltic, Malta, Mexico, Romania, Czechia and other countries of the world. EC «Duman» was one of the sponsors of that competition. In a tradition the casting of lots for the first round was made at the Central dome area of «Duman».
21-24th of September
At the capital in these days was organized First International theater festival «Teatr alemy-2006», where theatre actors from Moscow, Ufa, Bishkek and Astana took part. Entertainment Centre «Duman» was the sponsor of that activity and gave actors the opportunity to visit Oceanarium.
28-30th of September
In the capital «Congress hall» was organized the Third Kazakhstan International Exhibition «Rest-2006» where the delegations from Turkey, Malaysia, Chinese, Russia and other countries took part. Entertainment Centre «Duman» also participated in that activity positioning itself as one of the attractive place for tourism in Astana.
1st of October
At EC “Duman” celebrated International Day of old people. Good presents for all guests-pensioners and accompanied them people – were big reduction on the Oceanarium tickets, also tea drinking and concert with participation of capital music stars.
18th of October
At that day was organized the opening ceremony of new area in Oceanarium “Kazakhstan Fish”, there gathered fresh water and salt water fish of more than twelve kinds of Kazakhstan ichtiofauna. Many of them were written in Red List Book.
   
24-26th of October
Representatives of EC “Duman” took part in Second International conference on oceanography that was organized in Beijing Oceanarium (Beijing city, KNR). It should be noted that among all delegations participating in that activity specialist from Astana were single “land” oceanographers. It was interesting for all participants of conference. Matzhanova P.T. general director of EC “Duman” presented interesting report about advantages of capital Oceanarium.
25th of October
The week end in «Duman» became family holiday for the visitors of Entertainment Centre at the Republic Day. Theater performance with participation of fairy-tale personage for children, concert of capital music stars for their parents and introduction of new exhibition area in Oceanarium «Fishes of Kazakhstan» did not make anybody indifferent.
26th of October
EC «Duman» became the sponsor of the Fourth International Delphi's games that was organized in Astana. Young delegates arrived from 11 countries of the world including Japan, Bulgaria, German, Chine and from some countries of Commonwealth of Independent States. They visited the main place of interest of young capital that is Oceanarium.
4-12th of November
EC «Duman» at the school holiday made the big reduction for children on all attractions and Oceanarium. Special guests of those days were children from children’s homes and boarding schools, they had the opportunity to visit all places of interest of «Duman» for free.
28th of November-1st of December
Chief aquarist of Oceanarium of EC «Duman» took part in seminar of Eurasia regional association of zoos and aquariums (EARAZA) that was organized in Moscow city (Russia).
1-4th of December
Oceanarium stuff of EC «Duman» took part in Second International conference of aquarists with studying program «Sea aquarist» in Beijing city (KPR).
