01.10.09 Day of greybeards!

Autumn is a wonderful time of a year! This year it gives a special treat to citizens and guests of Astana by way of warm and sunny days. Trees have already changed their dresses and yellow leaves crunch underfoot. All this beauty raises the spirit of people and makes them smile. It is a pleasure that we celebrate Day of greybeards at this amazing gold season!

Annually at 1 October, Entertainment center “Duman” welcomed the dearest to heart guests – greybeards. Whitened by grey hairs, but having young soul these people traditionally come here to pass time in a kind and comfortable atmosphere with their friends. Respect and care about elder generation always were one of the “Duman” priorities.

Current year holiday tried fully to justify hopes of visitors. From early working day there was the tasty smell from the restaurant of the complex, the cooks of the center prepared culinary sweets to the heroes of the occasion, and the staff looked forward to meet the respectful guests. And they willingly came, because here they always receive the proper attention. The celebration began with the concert “Elder generation- gold of nation”. Local artists sang their best songs of past century, demonstrated bright dances and skilful attainments to play national instruments. Auditory with pleasure joined them in singing and dancing to the rhythmic music. Among visited people of elder generation were the volunteers to present their own skills. They prepared especially for this holiday the lovely songs to sing. After the concert, the representatives of elder generation were invited to visit the marvelous world of Oceanarium, which is always mysterious and inconceivable. The evening was continued over a cup of tea in cafй “Tornado”, where “Duman” staff treated them with baursaks, buns, rolls and biscuits made by their own hand.

At holiday, the entrance to the center and Oceanarium were free for pensioners as a support in difficult time and respect to the labour contribution of elder generation to our life. “Duman” was visited by more than 900 elder people.

The celebration had a success. Greybeards leaved the complex especially solemn, encouraged, feeling younger. It is one more evidence that the connection of generation in the entertainment center never lost.

30.08.09 Day of Constitution of Republic of Kazakhstan!

August 30, the multinational population of Kazakhstan celebrated Day of Constitution. There are great festivals with songs, dances, fairs in all cities of our republic.

The main event of holiday in the capital certainly became the magnificent military parade with participation of all military branches, more than 120 items of armament and defense technology, including airplanes of military aviation. Spectator activity leaved the indelible impression and pride for the power of our state.

At that field day, visitors of Entertainment center “Duman” also took the positive. Traditionally, the center took the active part in holiday activities of the city and country. Complex visitors were given the opportunity to hear the best examples of national music art demonstrated by local instrumentalists. Their melodies depicted in imagination of the present people the epoch of our forefathers, who had lived, worked, dreamed and had made all effort to create for us- their descendants the life in independent and prosperous Kazakhstan. And Astana vocal school appeared before the guests of “Duman” in the shine of amazing artists voices, they sang the best songs of repertoire about the peace on earth, republic prosperity and Astana development. Dance groups presented their genre well too. Dances of world nations one more time emphasized the multinationality of our country, good-neighbour relations of people lived here and the respect to each other culture. Also should be noted the games and competitions arranged by organizers on the central dome area of the complex, they roused the excitement of participants and revealed the most erudite and the smartest visitors. Everyone taken part in the contests was given the presents of Entertainment center.

The versed auditory of “Duman” liked the holiday concert, that was proved by storm of applause and sincere smiles which generously were presented to each other. The complex was visited by 4 730 people at that holiday.

06.07.09 Day of journalism!

To walk on edge of events, present true and qualified information, bring to people joy and educate to be proud of country benefits – these are only a few things, which are the daily work of men who have outstanding name Journalist.

Entertainment center “Duman” annually congratulates Kazakhstan journalists, who have become faithful friends during its operation period. This day “Duman” sincerely expresses its appreciation to representatives of mass media for their hard work and ability to present objectively to people the information about the life of the complex, its management and innovations.

The celebration began at Dome area of the center. Here, traditionally was held the ceremony of presentation the premiums of Entertainment center “Duman” for information support and objective coverage of JSC Entertainment center “Duman” activity:

Also there were carried out the concert program with participation of local dance groups and singers for the guests of the complex and invited journalists. In continuation of the evening, the representatives of mass media were offered to taste the dishes prepared by culinary masters of “Duman”. Later on, they were invited to see new underwater show in Oceanarium – “Dance of marine depths”, the performance became the gift of the company to the eleventh birthday of Astana, and to visit 5D motion - theater and fell into the world of wonderful adventures.

06.07.09 Day of the Capital!

Astana- is a heart of our state. Every year this city amazes the citizens of the capital and its guests by its architecture, which along with modern requirements saves the national peculiarities. As for international society, it is delighted with “new city in the steppe”, which during eleven years proved to be cultural, economic and industrial center.

To the birthday of Astana appeared the good tradition of all republic regions to present the gifts to its citizens and guests. This year peculiar gifts became various major industrial projects all round the state. There were set in operation many objects in the capital itself.

Realizing the vision of President Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbaeyev to turn “Entertainment center “Duman” into the center of rest and leisure for the capital and republic citizens irrespective to their age and social status, the company also created the position to present annually the presents for the guests and citizens of Astana. These gifts are unique, unforgettable and coincide with the high requirements of experienced visitors.

Currently to the eleventh anniversary of the capital, the staff of the company introduced new interesting performance and spectacular tricks in underwater show “Dance of marine depths”. This show is a real underwater theater, and it is the new kind of art in Kazakhstan. Guest due to staff acting techniques and fascinating plot of the program admires it. The company continues to produce innovation projects in domestic entertainment culture with the aim to give a pleasure and surprise to its visitors.

Holidays in entertainment center as usual were bright and merry. People inspired by positive came to have a rest with their families, close relatives and friends. Reigned atmosphere of joy in the air and faultless service of “Duman” staff made the visitors have the comfort there. In addition, the celebration was memorable because of interesting concert program, which was especially full of performance of local talents. Instrumental compositions touched the heart, dance groups raised auditory mood by their rhythms, acrobatic plays amazed by plastics, and vocal performance of the singers made dance old and young alike. Late at evening people leaved the complex with sincere happy faces, which became the highest mark to the carried work of the company staff.

At holidays 4, 5, 6 July, Entertainment center “Duman” was visited by 25 602 people, excluding the visitors with benefits.

22.06.09 Day of elder generation!

6 May, 2003 was carried out the grand opening of Entertainment center “Duman” with participation of President of Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev. The opening ceremony coincided with ahead celebration of Day of Victory. Therefore, to pay appropriate attention to the veterans of the Great Patriotic war and pensioners was not managed in the way liked by “Duman” staff. Moreover, one holiday for the people, made our future, seemed not enough according to the company body opinion. Thus, JSC EC “Duman” realizing the vision of the state President to turn the complex into the center of rest and leisure for the citizens of the capital and republic irrespective to their age and social status, formed the position to draw the special attention to the socially vulnerable group of people – children and old people. The staff idea to express its high respect and esteem to the elder generation was embodied in creation of the holiday “Day of elder generation” in memorable day 22 June- the beginning of the Great Patriotic war. This holiday the company celebrated from the very beginning of operation, currently 7 years. Now this holiday is celebrated by other organization too, as the practice showed. “Duman” is pleased to be the model in providing attention to the seniors.

22 June- the day of beginning of the bloodiest war in the modern history. This day like Day of Victory today veterans recall with the tears in the eyes. Therefore, to bring even small pleasure to these people at the significant day for all of us is the honour for everyone. The veterans of war, home front toilers, and those raised the ruinous economy, restore the country economics became the example of native land devotion, and we – contemporaries should remember that they presented to us the life at the cost of their life.

At the Day of elder generation, “Duman” traditionally prepared the great concert program. The artists sang the lovely songs, reflecting the pain for those who heroic fell in the battlefields and gratitude that we have not seen the war and children have the kind dreams. Dance groups put their soul into the every movement, demonstrating the desire to be liked and give the pleasant of the dance gracefulness. In addition, there were the instrumental compositions, the seniors and their children and grandchildren danced to this music. Besides, heroes of the occasion would like to show their talents too. They sang, danced and played the instruments, inspiring the auditory with positive mood.

Later all guests were invited to the Oceanarium. There was held the underwater show “Dance of Marine Depths”. Interesting play and various complicated tricks made the tremendous impression upon the visitors and did not leave anyone indifferent to this exciting type of the art.

After it, the representatives of elder generation were invited to the cafй “Tornado” to drink tea and taste the meal prepared by “Duman” cookery experts according to their peculiar recipes.

At the end of the evening the veterans and pensioners, their number was about 600, were received the small gifts of “Duman” staff. The good mood of that day visitors revealed their comfort feeling in the complex. There was reigned the harmony atmosphere between elder generation, had the perfect pastime, and younger one, tried to make the holiday unforgettable, and make the joy prevail over the sadness of past events.

01.06.09 International Children’s day!

1 June has become the day of children not by a chance, it is the first day of summer when the birds sing the songs on the trees and the flowers appear. Besides, it is the merry time of vocation and entertainment. Children are looking forward to meet this bright holiday, anticipating joy, gifts and activities, which they exactly will visit with their parents. All kids’ expectations of this day come fully to be true, because adults try to focus all efforts to make the holiday rich by positive emotions.

Entertainment complex “Duman”, goal of which is to bring the fun, that day was especially attractive for boys and girls. It is the result of the fact that the center during its operation has showed itself such a way, that if somebody comes there once, he would like to visit it again. “Duman” visitors know for sure that the visit will become unforgettable.

Traditionally, there was sounded the sonorous laugh of babies under the dome of the center at that nice day. Children rights protecting department together with SMGE “ Center of English language” and with the help of entertainment center “Duman” presented to children – orphans, of families having many children and low budget the holiday “ What a wonderful world of children!” in the context of republic action “ We are the children of yours, Kazakhstan! We will live in new world!” Children received the maximum pleasure from the fascinating games, interesting competitions and amusing relay-race, the winner of which got the gifts. In addition, it should be noted that all activity brought many cognitive information for kids, such as, for example, the declaration of children rights, which was introduced to the auditory.

After that activity the babies were pleased and glad that certainly made the mums, dads, grandmothers and grandfathers smile. To see the happy children is the desire of all parents on the land.

12.05.09 Zhas kanat !

Everyone in the world has his own preferences in the art, literature, music, and many others. Often growing, developing or changing the circumstances whether depend on us or not, we change our opinions about the admirations. Certainly, it is the rule and it supposes to have the exceptions.

This rare exception is Entertainment center “Duman”. It does not change its love under any conditions. Stability in everything is its main feature. Examples proved this fact is many. One of it is the relationship with annual republic song competition “Zhas kanat”. During some years, the collaboration of the center and song contest has been caring out successfully.

This year “Duman” traditionally welcomed its good friend. Boys and girls from all corners of our huge native land were happy to visit the single Oceanarium of Kazakhstan and receive wonderful emotions in 5D motion-theater- in virtual space. Moreover, the participants were presented the gifts of the complex.

2009 is particular year for the competition, it celebrates its majority. Over 18 years the Kazakhstan factory of stars has been revealing the persons of natural gifts. No doubts, it is the hard work, because all participants are talented and interesting in their own way. “Duman” noted also for itself a favourite during that period. And in finale stage of “Zhas kanat” General director of JSC “Entertainment center “Duman” Patima Turalievna Marzhanova rewarded on behalf of staff special prize of Entertainment center “Duman” - premium at the rate of 100 000 (one hundred thousands) tenge to Almaty group “Melomen”, who also became the laureate of the third level. Quartet gained the spectators and the collective of the complex from the very first notes. Their songs had the deep meaning, and their manner of performance did not make feel the doubt of the sincerity.

09.05.09 Day of Victory!

Annually, at May 9 there are occurred the contradictory feelings, perhaps, in every soul of our republic citizens. Firstly, they are sadness and sorrow about those who forever have been left on the battlefields, whose names will be in memory of their contemporaries and new generation, and will be famed more after a number of years. Certainly, they are joy and gratitude for prosperity on our land and happiness to be near the close persons. We are in deep debt everlastingly before the veterans of Great Patriotic war- creators of peace. Day of Victory is the holiday when children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren express their appreciation and respect to grandmothers and grandfathers- heroes of front and rear.

Entertainment center “Duman”, keeping its good tradition of this day, was looking forward to meet the invited honorary guests- veterans. As soon as they entered this unique complex, the holiday started.

Surely, there was the concert program, which amazed by its magnificence and did not leave indifferent anyone of present. There were sounded the old beloved songs of wartime, the words of which we knew by heart from the early childhood. Sometime they made us shed the tears, sometime smile. There also were the new songs about the main, the meaning of which were actual for all ages. No one holiday could not be merry without the dance. Choreographic groups of the capital demonstrated their skills for the auditory. Versed spectators and amateur ones were delighted from their plastic and ability to join the music.

In addition, the guests were given the opportunity to communicate and share with each other the emotions of observed things during the cup of tea in cafй “Tornado”. The staff of the complex hope that our “dear and “young” old people” have been had the nice time and would visit the center over and over again.

01.05.09 Kazakhstan people's unity day!

May 1 is Kazakhstan people’s unity holiday. Today there are more than one hundred and fifty nationalities in our republic. All of us live in good neighborhood respecting and honoring the traditions and customs of each other. We are different, but the country and the target are common for all-to live at the peace and in chime.

Traditionally this nice holiday is celebrated with songs, dance and festival. There are carried out the holiday activities uniting people in all cities of our state. Russians, Georgians, Tatars and many others demonstrate their bright costumes and treat people around to their national dish.

May turned out well in Astana. It seemed even the nature was pleased with this day gifting us sunny splendid weather, which made unwittingly smile and elate.

Entertainment center “Duman”, beloved place of leisure of capital citizens and guests, as usual justified hopes of visitors. Children and adults liked the actions organized especially for this holiday. And there is no wonder, the attention given with particular warmth is liked by everyone.

Kids and their friends clowns played in different games and amused themselves by competitions revealing wit and smart ones, the winners were rewarded with worthy prizes. The number of winners has not been small, because the growing up generation is all-rounded.

Older guests had the possibility to enjoy the amazing arts of dance groups, which presented the dances of various nations, and dance to the merry songs of talent singers.

The holiday was vivid, lively and spring. 7 498 people visited the complex at 1,2,3 of May.

22.03.09 Nauryz meiramy!

Nauryz meiramy is the day of vernal equinox. From the earliest times they thought that in the day took place the unity and harmony of human with nature. Traditionally, March 22 every family should lay the dastarhan (the table). People say: the better is the celebration of Nauryz – the more successful will be the current year. On the eve of that long-waited event, men thoroughly prepare their houses to the celebration by cleaning, repairing and decorating them. According to wisdom of our forefathers, the fortune comes only in clean house.

Entertainment center “Duman” also prepared to the state holiday Nauryz meiramy by decorating its building outside and inside. But it was only the beginning of creation the atmosphere of spring mood. The complex offered the special leisure to all citizens and guests of the capital.

The actions started by the concert program fascinating of its variety. Dance groups demonstrated their graceful abilities to move flexible in rhythm with appropriate music. Singers asked the audience by their merry songs to dance and visitors made it with the great pleasure, their warm-hearted songs cast a romantic spirit. The performance of acrobats brought to the hearts of guest the admiration and amazement with reminiscence about the childhood.

Kids had their own enthralling show, where the main characters were joy and mischievous clowns. Together they had the perfect time captivated by competition after which certainly it was nice to receive the prizes. Also children heard the interesting instructive stories which made them smell as well as give the flight of fancy imagining fairy personages and unforeseen situations.

Boys and girls, parents and grandparents March 21, 22, 23 awarded the center by their visits and become happy themselves and made happy Duman. Totally at holidays, the complex was visited by 13 706 people. The event providers hope that every visitor will safe that day in their memory like one of the bright page of the life.

08.03.09 International woman’s day!

A fine day is 8 March. This holiday the representatives of the fair sex wait impatiently for because this wonderful spring day they-wife, grandmother, mother, daughter, sister, friend - receive the special attention of men. Some guys think this holiday refers to them equally as they take the great responsibility to justify faith and hopes of beloved women. And ladies observe with pleasure their cavalier make shopping in looking for unusual and pleasant gift.

International women’s day was traditionally celebrated in Entertainment center “Duman”. There was prepared the peculiar entertaining-amusing program for guests. Local lovely artists demonstrated their talents. Dance groups presented their delightful “pas”. Singers fascinated the public by beautiful voices and magnificent repertoire. Ears were relished by instrumental compositions the melodies of which were dear and sincere. Also organizers carried interesting competitions which recognized among the audience the cleverest, the smartest and the bravest people. All participants of the competitions were given small prizes.

At holidays 7, 8, 9 March the complex was visited by 6 588 people. And it should be noted that days were sunny and it made the mood more joyful.

18.02.09 Now “Duman” has Doctor of Business Administration!

Entertainment center “Duman” sincerely would like to share with its guests joy and pride overfilled in hearts of stuff, one more achievement of the company. Exactly “achievement of the company” unanimously the collective exclaims. Currently, not simply first-class and purposeful person stands at the wheel of ship “Duman”, but the leader of new time. 18 February, 2009 in Almaty city was held the presentation of diplomas to graduates of the program Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) of International Academy of Business and the Higher School of Corporate Management of National Economy under Government of Russian Federation.

The program DBA of International Academy of Business is innovation product on market of education of Republic of Kazakhstan and it functions four year in the country, it is the second graduation. The program Doctor of Business Administration is the highest level in business education.

Among happy possessor of honorary degree of doctor is General director of JSC “Entertainment center “Duman” Patima Turalievna Matzhanova.

At the next in turn operational meeting the collective of the complex congratulated its head manager and expressed the wishes of health, prosperity and long life.
